Chokeville is an exhaustive and exhausting survey of a city called Fort Hook. It was an actual fort back in the day, thanks to its advantageous location between the sea and a dense forest and some foothills called The Palaces. The original fort was paved over (although there is a vibrant and frightening community in the underground ruins, now euphemistically called Old Town) and a semi-thriving metropolis grew on top of it.

The goal is to tell every single story of this city. To ease us into this ridiculous project, we first focus on Feddema Global, a mysterious organization that acts as a courier service for the Hook’s more sinister elements. They travel all over the city, so I figured it’d be as good an entry point as any.
A good place to start is Welcome to Feddema Global. It features Allison Hull, who’s from out of town and also has no idea what’s going on, so maybe you can relate to her.

The site will be frequently updated with new material. Sometimes stories, sometimes a song, a photograph, a movie, illustration, radio show, encyclopedia entry, comic strip, field recording, whatever, etc.
